Call it a dark incite or evil’s resolve but these consumable points allow superior NPC villains a chance to gain an advantage in any combat. These points can be used in 2 ways;
- Arch Villain’s Edge
- Burning a point in this way allows the villain to re-roll any attack, skill or ability roll taking the better of the two rolls.
- Glancing Blow
- At the moment of impact (damage rolled) a villain who burns a point this way instinctively rolls with the blow taking 1/2 damage from the attack. This ability is luck based and CAN NOT be used with Interpose or while restrained in anyway.
Arch Villains can only burn one 1 Villain Point per session.
Arch Villains are defined as an intelligent single NPC designed to take on 3+ PC’s alone or intelligent single NPC with followers and designed to take on 2 PC’s alone.
